Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor is now following the footsteps of Aamir Khan, by getting choosier. Reportedly, Shahid Kapur declined a romantic film offer by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Apparently, Shahid wants to work in a different stream now. The 30-year-old actor has diverted his attention from acting in romantic films into action films. It is speculated that Shahid’s last film, ‘Mausam’’s debacle has compelled the actor to take this decision.Shahid wants to get rid of the lover boy image now, and wants to do films of different genres like action, which he hasn’t done before, reveals a source close to the actor. Though Shahid admitted that he did not purposefully turned down Chopra’s film and said that he has high regards for the filmmaker, and in future, he would look forward to work with him. Shahid will be seen in Maneesh Sharma’s next untitled project under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
