Only Salman can do justice to role @ feels Mahesh

Asked for his opinion about who will best suit to be cast in the role of male lead if Dookudu is remade in Hindi, Mahesh Babu told a daily that only Salman Khan can do full justice to the role in Hindi. 
The actor's endorsement of Salman Khan is followed by the general feeling among audience that Salman can pull off the role quite well, because of his unique style in easily being heroic and comic.
Well, Salman may definitely take Mahesh's recommendation as a compliment.  With Salman already having reprised a Mahesh role in the past (Wanted), you can expect him to give a serious consideration to Prince's statements.
Mahesh also said that he has never believed in records and figures.  Dookudu's runaway success has translated into astonishing figures, which are, to say the least, quite unbelievable for a Telugu cinema.

Jr NTR Oosaravelli records

Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film Oosaravelli directed by Surender Reddy is gearing up for release on October 6. The makers are eyeing on huge openings and are planning to release the film with highest number of prints in NTR’s career.


According to our sources, the movie will release in over 200 screens in Nizam territory alone. The makers are also planning to release the movie in 100 screens in US. If this happens then Oosaravelli is the first film to have these many centres in US thus crossing Mahesh’s recent release Dookudu which was screened in 79 screens. In East Godavari the movie will be screened in 28 screens and it is heard that this figure may go up depending upon the film’s fate. The film has positive buzz in the industry and it is heard that NTR is very confident over the film’s success. He himself is taking active part in movie promotions. Looks like Tollywood is back to its good old days and will witness another super hit in the form of Oosaravelli.

Suriya's mind-blowing intro in '7th Sense'!!

One of the most talked about and much awaited movie of the season is '7th Sense' and now the clock is ticking for it to hit the screens. Meanwhile, inside reports reveal that the introduction scene of hero Suriya in the film would be one of its kind never experienced in Indian cinema before.

It is heard that the scene will have a simultaneous capture of China and Kancheepuram. Sources say huge money was spent on this particular scene as it had to do with graphics. And the arrival of Suriya amidst that backdrop will be another visual extravaganza, as per sources.
Suriya is essaying the role of a circus trapeze artist and also as a monk. He is pairing up with the seductive beauty Shruti Haasan who is essaying the role of a scientist. The film is directed by A R Murugadoss and music is by Harris Jayaraj. Let us wait to see what more surprises the film has to offer.

Chiru training to RamCharan

The age old saying goes 'Like Father, Like Son' and this is something very commonly found among the film families of Tollywood. Usually, the acting phenomenon passes from generation to generation and that's why we have the likes of Akkinenis, Nandamuris, Daggubatis, Konidelas etc..

Now, this comes with proper grooming and training. Currently, it is heard that Megastar Chiranjeevi has been taking few special coaching sessions to his son Ramcharan Tej. Apparently, Chiru was the emperor of Tollywood before he got into politics. Now, it is heard that he has all his eyes on Charan to take the legacy forward.
As a result, it is heard that Chiru has been grooming Charan on things like how he should behave during public functions, how to talk, how to deal with issues, how to behave on the sets, discipline towards acting etc. Only time will tell how much of all this has Charan taken from his father and implemented it.

'Dookudu' Report On NTR's Table

How much did ‘Dookudu’ collect in which area? Which area has it crossed the record of other films? All these details may not be available with hardcore fans of Mahesh Babu. Even ‘Dookudu’ s producers may not have these details. But NTR has them in full.

From the beginning, NTR is crazy about records. Even before he touched 20, he rubbed Chiranjeevi who ruled the industry from 20 years. After he wiped off all the records with ‘Simhadri’, NTR could not digest the fact that ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Magadheera’ created new records.
 Since then, he is waiting desperately for a chance to beat the records of both the films. In this process, it is heard that he also got full information about the records of ‘Dookudu’. NTR fans reveal that looking at the first three days collection, NTR got worried. But with the last two days collections dropping, he is breathing a sigh of relief.

Can Oosaravelli repeat the same feat

Dookudu has done tremendous business in overseas which is never heard of in the past. This has shown the real potential of Telugu cinema in this territory. Now all eyes are on next big release Oosaravelli. Trade is closely watching this film as it would give the clear picture on overseas business.

If Oosaravelli too rakes in good numbers, then we can come to a conclusion that Telugu cinema’s power over there has certainly grown. If this film gets minimal numbers like in the past then we have to consider that Dookudu is a rare case.
But with Dookudu, overseas market has suddenly picked up and buyers are once again coming up with good offers. Earlier in this year, there is so much slump in overseas trade that buyers only offered little amount to buy few noted films.

'Bezawada' Is Anti-Kapu

Any film that comes from the camp of Ram Gopal Varma is bound to create a controversy. Right now, one such film is 'Bezawada' and though Ramu is only producing it, enough chaos has been created over the title and also the storyline. Now, another interesting update has been received.

It is heard that the flavour of 'Bezawada' would be more Anti-Kapu. Which means the character inspired by the late Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga would be essayed as the Villain. Already, the choice of Abhimanyu Singh aka Bukka Reddy of 'Rakta Charitra' doing that role is showing strong confirmation on this doubt.
 Sources close to Varma reveal "Since there are many Kammas in industry who hold a strong clout, RGV is not keen on making enmity with them. And none of his films are without a villain. That's why he had to show someone as villain and he chose the Kapu leader Ranga as the one with negative shades." Well, let us wait for the film to decide who's bad.

Siddharth Started 'New Story' Again!

No, this is not about a new affair or a new movie. It is really about a new-story that romantic hero Siddharth started writing for his next flick. Though he clicked as a happening hero in the Southern Circuit, Siddharth always has an eye towards the director's chair. With his unnecessary poking into the affairs of directors, Sid is the unsung hero behind the flops like BAAVA and 180. For another flopbuster CHUKKALLO CHANDRUDU, Sid is the story writer infact. While he is tangled with a series of flops, the young hero is again taking chances to write a story.
This time he is said to be tabulating his relationship with Shruti Hassan and the way he has bid farewell to ex-girlfriend Soha Ali Khan on a paper. A senior cine observer stated, 'It is very interesting to read those stories on websites, but they don't suit for a screen subject'. Time for Siddharth, to really learn what works and what not, though he worked as an 'assistant director' for some time.

NTR Junior's ex love, dusky and sexy Sameera Reddy is not so happening in Bollywood these days. She had been branded as an iron leg actress in Tollywood. However, that didn't make her sit idle at home. She is making waves in our neighbor state Tamilnadu. Sameera is one of the front-line heroines in Tamil film industry now.

Sameera Reddy is currently busy with more than two Tamil films and there are few more biggies in the pipeline for her. Tamil film industry is facing shortage of heroines for a while. Most of the actresses prefer Telugu to Tamil and hence Kollywood has to settle with leftovers. At this juncture Sameera Reddy is being considered as the best bet as she has that elegance and starry charisma.
Another asset for her is that she could easily fit beside an aged actor and young hero alike. Therefore Sameera is being chased down from Kamal to Vishal in Kollywood. Sameera might be now hoping that her fast growing career in Kollywood opens gates to enter Tollywood again.

10 Crores Package for Sreenu Vaitla??

Taking inspiration from Rajamouli’s wife Rama Rajamouli, Sreenu Vaitla got his wife Rupa Vaitla into costume styling for his films. 

Now, it is heard that in same Rajamouli’s style, Vaitla is also planning to take total package for his future films.


Rajamouli takes Rs 10 crores for story, dialogues, music, styling, direction etc. In this, story is penned by Rajamouli’s father. Dialogues are written by Rajamouli’s cousin Kaanchi. We already know about styling. And no need to mention about who does the music as well.


Now, Sreen Vaitla is also planning to take the same route, as per sources. Vaitla maintains five to six writers along with Gopi Mohan, Kona Venkat etc.

Now, it is heard that he has decided to take Rs 10 crores package and this will involve story, dialogues, songs, music, styling, direction like Rajamouli. Sources say this will be implemented for Vaitla’s new film with NTR Junior being produced by Ganesh.
