She decided to board SRK’s charter flight at the last moment first to surprise her ‘Don’ and secondly to visit the town where she has her family roots. Priyanka’s mother’s family resides there, hence she has some fond memories of the place and she didn’t want to miss the opportunity. However her decision became a cause for the high voltage confusion as there were too many untimely arrangements that had to take place.
There was a lot of chaos at Lucknow airport as there was frenzy amongst the people when the news of her arrival came. In her justification, Priyanka quoted “Patna is my city. My mother's family lives here. I just had to come.”
